Home Inspection and Renovation

You should have peace of mind in your home, that there are not major, unexpected repairs around the corner, so you can devote your attention to things that really matter.

Comprehensive

We offer many supplementary services like sewer scope, and radon testing, so you don't have to coordinate with five specialists in your 10-day inspection window.

Focus

As a general contractor, with emphasis on sustainable building materials and historic preservation, we strictly focus on turn-of-the-century and mid-century homes. This knowledge is also extremely valuable during inspections.

Technology

We've deployed a lot of innovative technology in our industry to increase performance, reduce errors, and achieve higher levels of accountability for our clients and strategic partners.

Home Inspection

Your home inspection should be more than a checklist and some photos, it should provide you with peace of mind. This requires a quality and comprehensive approach. Quality extends beyond the checklist to help you understand the systems in the home, and sets expectations for future maintenance. Additionally, home inspections as defined by the industry can leave many gaps, so make sure your inspection is comprehensive enough to cover any concerns you may have in your new home.

Home Renovation

The principles of historic preservation create excellent guidelines when working on turn-of-the-century and mid-century homes. We look at two primary factors in any project, the investment, and livability. We look at the material cost over the expected service life because generally speaking the cheapest option isn't the least expensive option. Additionally, we're diligent in pursuing the balance in incorporating modern convenience while maintaining the character of the home.

Review Services

Rob started in the industry with rehabbing turn-of-the-century homes. Becoming a general contractor was a natural evolution, beyond investment properties, to help others care for their character homes. Becoming a licensed home inspector was a further progression because many inspectors and contractors don't understand the systems in these homes well, and it allows me to serve a broader client base, building love and understanding for these classic homes.
